This site was created as an online home for AFROHISPANICS, a place to debate, discuss, and act upon issues affecting the African Diaspora.

Several months ago out of a great desire to take the great dialog and sense of community we formed online to the next level, I created this site. The desire was to create a networking platform FOR US, I felt as though we had been nomads taken advantage of by some sites, and not appreciated by others, the only place we were ever able to truly call home was Lesli's forum.
Unfortunately the site has not evolved the way I would have liked, or thought it would, for that I take full responsibility! Being site administrator also created an added dynamic that I did not expect, I felt limited in how aggressively I could engage fellow members in a debate without them feeling as though I was imposing my views on them.
In short, while it's great to see many of your faces and read many of your contributions, this site has not added anything new, it has not expanded what we already have on Leslie's forum. Based on this fact I have decided that it is best that I shut down this site rather than have a site up the provides minimal services.
In the coming months I will seek to make my contribution to the struggle of Afrohispanic people, and African people throughout the diaspora on a more personal level. When the time comes I will provide more details. Once again
